Southern Comfort

It's always nice to be able to sit out in your garden after a busy week and just relax while watching the dog play or just curled up reading a book. I love to get all dressed up like any other girl but I also like to find those special "comfort me" clothes, that I can just slip into and go ahhhh and know that I'm home. Entice has just that outfit, long sleeve cotton t-shirt is comfortable while not being too hot and pairing them with stylish black pants that have ties on the legs to add a bit of detail. I have added canvas sneaker shoes from ROC for an added comfy factor and am also wearing braided hair from Entwined.

I have been given the wonderful opportunity to blog for Heth Haute Couture and this is my first entry for them. I am wearing the elegant Chantal Gown in blue. It's long length and slim fit gives you that formal look while the low back, slight cleavage bearing and light catching shimmer of the dress will make you feel a bit sassy and sexy. Designers in SL always amaze me with what they come up with and Entice really tickled me with their latest design for the Enchantment Event. It's a complete munchkin avatar, that includes, mesh head with hair, mesh eyes,classic shape and skin, mesh shirt,mesh shorts, mesh lollipop, sculpted shoes, classic stocks, alpha layers and lollipop guild gesture that will make you fall over with the giggles. After putting this on, I of course had to find my own yellow brick road to follow.

Never buy balloons on a windy day

I always liked looking at pictures that have people holding balloons while walking down the beach or around the fair. For some some reason that always bring s a smile to my face, maybe it's because it's normally a sunny day and it looks like they are having fun. So, I decided that I was going to take a trip to the local pier and have a walk with some balloons. I picked a dress from PT that I thought looked like fun and summer with it's halter neck and belted waist in a fun purple color. No one warns you that balloons can be dangerous..lol I bought a handful and started walking down the pier when the wind picked up and almost took me and my balloons for a ride! Morale of the story? Never buy balloons on a windy day.

Vintage with a modern flair

I always like mixing styles to see what I come up with. This round at Designer's Showcase, I feel like I was able to mix a vintage look with a modern flair. The dress I am wearing is from Loovus. It's flirty ruffles reminds me of the dresses that the flappers wore back in the 20's while it's short length has a modern touch. The necklace is from Chop Zuey and adds to the vintage look with it's draping pearls and cameo touch. This necklace has several options on how you can wear it so that it will give you many different looks and it's half price at Designer's Showcase. The final touch are the shoes from Lindy with it's sexy high heel and flirty ankle ties.

Queen of the North

Being a Game of Thrones fan, I have hoped that I would get an opportunity to do a Game of Throneesque blog. Zuri Jewelry has given me that opportunity. I am always on the lookout for up do's and found this soft and pretty one at Rezology. It frames the face perfectly and I love the trendils that hang down the side of the face. I fell in love when I saw this cute dress from [ ZE ]. It is so versatile, it can be casual, flirty and fun or it can be a bit elegant.
